CONSTRUCTION ALERT
Please be advised that throughout 2026 Franklin Avenue in front of Hope’s offices will be under construction, which will impact visitors to Hope no matter your mode of transportation. Our parking lot will remain accessible from Oakland Avenue immediately south of Franklin, and there should be at least one side of Franklin open at all times for people walking or biking. Please check for construction updates from Hennepin County’s website here.
Getting to Hope by Bicycle
Hope’s office has available bicycle racks for parking on both the Franklin Avenue and parking lot sides of the building. There are on-street bicycle lanes on Portland and Park Avenues, located a block in either direction. There is also a Nice Ride station on the NE corner of Franklin and Portland, next to The Wellstone Apartments.
Getting to Hope by Metro Transit
The #2 bus stops directly in front of Hope’s office, along with the Eastbound #9. The Westbound #9, the #5, the #11, and the #14 routes are also all within a few blocks of Hope, and the Franklin Avenue station of the Blue Line LRT is 1 mile to the east. Visit the

Parking at Hope
There are a limited number of visitor parking spaces in our parking lot – if you are visiting during business hours, please see a staff member for a visitor pass. There is also available street parking on Oakland and Portland Avenues.
