Miski began her relationship with Hope as a childcare provider for listening project events through Food, Land, and Community. Shortly after, she began working in the garden to help with food production and youth facilitation throughout the summer. Miski isn’t a stranger to the urban agriculture movement or organizing which has led her to her position as the Food, Land, and Community Organizer. She has worked on various plots, urban and rural with one goal; the tangible and urgent push to provide food for people and it is what drives Miski to sustain this work. Sustenance, food, growers and stewards of the land make the world move and progress, Miski is happy and excited to be a part of this fundamental and life-giving work.
