Mariama joined Hope at the end of 2021 as an Accounting Associate in the Finance department. In this role her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, handling all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit card & bank reconciliations. Mariama graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities with a Bachelor’s in Family Social Science and a minor in Leadership and Public Health. Outside of work, she spends much of her time helping her community at the Tawfiq Islamic Center during different events. The rest of her time is divided between spending it with her siblings’ kids, being outside in nature and attempting to learn a new language – currently working on Turkish.
