Caroline has worked at Hope as one of the Farm Program Organizers since 2022. She graduated from Carleton College in 2020 with a double major in environmental studies and music, and has since gotten involved in environmental justice, sustainability, and urban farming work around the Twin Cities. Caroline has worked on several farms across the world, including Unity Gardens in her hometown of South Bend, IN, where she first learned about the intersection of community health, social justice, and growing food. Caroline is passionate about building community power and advancing food justice through communal gardening, and she believes food is a powerful vessel for social change. As the Farm Program Organizer at Hope, she manages Hope’s three urban garden spaces and organizes programming and events to build community leadership. Outside work, she enjoys DJing, making all kinds of music, biking, swimming in the cities’ lakes, and solving crossword puzzles. She also recently got her beekeeping certificate and hopes to start her own hive soon.
